Poetry Tuesday

Explorer
I am an explorer.
Going deep down into places many have never traveled.
Finding the answers and the questions.
Looking for the places of bliss,
The reason to smile,
And the heart of pain.
I don't explore countries or continents.
I don't need money or a passport.
My exploring is of the soul.
Tiring to get to the truth of all my struggles and loss.
Sorting out the bullshit that can't be changed,
And the chaos that needs love.
Holding on to the child that is scared and doesn't know how to deal.
Bandaging wounds, kissing the bruises and loving all the ugly.
Exploring the possibilities of a satisfied existence and not wanting more.
Just having enough to live in the harmony with me, myself and I.
I am an explore of my soul.

  1. Tara,

If we stop and think bout it, this poem is all of us. I live this poem every day. It can be so frustrating. Other times so inspiring. Each day is new and we have to make it a new dreation.

I too love coloring. I am a day care provider in my home. I am not as young as I use to be lol! Coloring relaxes me. I would like to do more, but energy and time is just not there. Coloring is the best I can do for now. Looking for good coloring books. Not as good as they were when we were kids lol!

Keep up the good work. :) Kids are adorable!
